Description
Mostly Elevators* is a harmonic tremolo pedal with some special expressive features:
Spectral Tilt allows the tremolo to be tilted towards high frequencies, leaving lower frequencies untouched, or vice versa. At center position, all frequencies tremble.
The Rate or Depth can be modulated either by your dynamics (Env) or by the Pitch of the notes you play. The toggle switches at the top select the modulation source and destination, and the Mod knob controls the strength of modulation, which can be positive (right of center) or negative (left of center).
For example, select Env->Depth and turn Mod to right of center; softly plucked notes will appear unaffected, but dig in to the strings to bring the tremolo in more strongly.
Or, select Pitch->Rate and turn mod left of center; low notes will pulse quickly and high notes slowly.
The LFO waveform is a lovely, perfect sine wave, but as Depth is increased it becomes harder, choppy and percussive. The blue LED pulses green to show the LFO’s rate.
The expression jack inserts an expression pedal in series with the Mod control, allowing for both the amount and direction of the modulation to be controlled continuously as you play, for multi-layered levels of creative control within a performance.
Mostly Elevators features three-dimensionally engraved graphics and a color-shifting powder coat finish.
